Kola sits at the intersection of investment technology and people, he’s driven by value-add deal creations. He’s a co-founder at Volition and an Alumnus of Harvard University.
Subomi leads marketing and product development at Volition Capital Investments. She has over 20 years of branding and marketing communications experience. She is an avid investor and co-founder of an investment cooperative with million Dollar investments. She is on the Board of Alder Consulting and is a corporate wealth representative for Stanbic IBTC and Meristem Securities.
Samlara has a vision of creating pathways and resources for Africa. She aims to be remembered as someone who added a new dimension to all the good the continent has to offer. Samlara has focused on advocacy, community sensitization, and developing solutions for marginalized communities in West Africa. She has worked on environmental solutions with organizations like the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, Oxfam, and the Dutch government, among others. Samlara is an Echoing Green Fellow, a Harvard Mason Fellow and an Adrian Cheng Fellow. She has an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Kunle Alli is a Senior Investment Professional with the African Capital Alliance Group (ACA). ACA is a leading investment management firm with subsidiaries and offices in Mauritius, Nigeria and Ghana. At ACA, Kunle is responsible for deal sourcing, investment making, portfolio management and exits in the FMCG, Industrial and TMT sectors. Over the course of his time at ACA, Kunle was actively involved in, drove and completed the firm’s US$570m private equity fundraiser. He also originated and led deal teams on the investment making workstreams on over US$350m in investment opportunities, consummated on key deal transactions and made successful exits for the firm’s funds.Prior to ACA, Kunle worked at Deutsche Bank in the Acquisition Finance and Debt Advisory division where he worked on multi-billion large-cap corporate mergers and acquisitions financings in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.Kunle has an MSc in Management from Imperial College Business School and a BSc (Honours) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham. He is married to Tolulope Alli with 2 children.
